    Johnny Hall Joins The Robertson Team

    As a new Project Engineer for Robertson, Johnny Hall brings sixteen years of practical construction experience to the team. Within his tenure in the construction industry, he has served as an assistant project manager, project superintendent and managed commercial construction projects throughout the continental United States. In the four years preceding his professional career, Johnny was enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. Welcome, Johnny.

    Wilbur Roby Joins the Robertson Team

    After forty-seven years in the construction industry, Wilbur continues his illustrious career with Robertson.  As a graduate of Lancaster High School in Lancaster, Ohio, and as carpenter by trade, Wilbur has been involved in all facets of residential, commercial, and industrial construction.   Welcome, Wilbur.

    Robertson is Building a Planetarium

    In collaboration with The Works: Ohio Center for History, Art & Technology, The Ohio State University at Newark, and JBA Architects, Robertson will construct a $1.4 million SciDome planetarium at The Works’ campus in downtown Newark.  The 2,200 square foot facility will house a 30 foot tilted dome with 4K digital projection and NanoSeam™ technology and theatre-style seating for 60 guests. Groundbreaking for the new building will occur in early June 2017 with completion anticipated in June 2018.

    Samaneh &quote;Sam&quote; Nasrollahi Joins the Robertson Team

    As a recent graduate of Bowling Green State University with a Master of Science in Construction Management and a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from IAU, Sam joins the Robertson Team as a Project Engineer.  In addition to her academic accomplishments, Sam brings several years of industry experience from the Construction Department of Housing Bank in Tehran, Iran and estimating experience in Springfield, Ohio. Welcome, Sam.

    Robertson Breaks Ground at Denison University

    Robertson celebrated with Denison University at the ground breaking of the new Michael D. Eisner Center for the Performing Arts.  The festivities included reflective and motivational remarks from Denison President Adam Weinberg as well as the building namesake Michael Eisner.

    Mike Grady Completes Field Leadership Excellence Series

    In March 2017, Mike Grady successfully completed the Field Leadership Excellence Series program offered through the Builders Exchange of Central Ohio.  The Field Leadership Series is an eight-session program designed to help field superintendents and project managers be more than managers – help them become leaders.  Throughout the series, experienced industry professionals shared lessons learned and best practices on topics such as delegation, managing diversity, and leading vs. managing.     Robertson Welcomes Winnie Agbalevu, Project Engineer

    February 6, 2017 – Robertson welcomes Winnie Agbalevu, Project Engineer, to the team.  Winnie joins Robertson as a 2015 graduate of The Ohio State University having completed multiple internships and early industry assignments.  Welcome Winnie!

    November 11, 2016 – Robertson congratulates Christopher Zamilski on his much-deserved promotion to Senior Project Manager.  Chris’s experience, dedication and leadership have established him as a key partner in Robertson’s future.  Congratulations Chris!

    October 31, 2016 – Robertson breaks ground on the new Bellville Duchess convenience store and fueling center.

    August 29, 2016 – Robertson welcomes Matthew Langel, Project Manager, to the team.  Matthew joins Robertson with 10 years of construction experience having successfully mastered many different industry positions and project delivery models.  Welcome Matt!

    June 13, 2016 – Robertson begins Phase 2 renovation of Johnstown Monroe High School to Middle School Conversion.  The 2nd Phase of renovations to Johnstown’s existing high school for future use as a middle school began this week.  After completing several enabling projects as well as a comprehensive roofing replacement including a new pitched roof structure over the academic wing in Phase 1, Robertson will begin Phase 2 work this week.  Phase 2 work includes a complete electrical, HVAC and technology upgrade to the academic wing, media center and performing arts [...]

    02.17.12     Robertson Celebrates Fifteen Years

    Christian Robertson was surprised as family, friends and co-workers gathered from all over the country to join in a celebration honoring Robertson Construction’s 15th anniversary.     This 13,000 sf fire station is ready to serve the community thanks to the efficient project management of Robertson Construction. JBA Architects designed the project.

    This design/build project involved the renovation of a 10,000 sf church into modern medical offices for Robertson & Abad Family Medicine in Newark, Ohio.

    Construction of the Horton Building at the Central Ohio Aerospace and Technology Center relies on local general contractor, Robertson, and other local subs to get the job done. Read the story from the Newark Advocate. >>

    This project consisting of the addition of 51,000 sf and renovation of 37,000 sf for the Eastland-Fairfield Career & Technical Schools in Carroll, Ohio was completed by Robertson in conjunction with architects, SHP Leading Design.  

    This 12,200 sf, $3.2 million, state-of-the-art higher education building located in Logan, Ohio, is heated and cooled by 26 geothermal wells and includes a fuel cell, natural gas compressor and refueling station, vegetative roof, 21kw photovoltaic array, and a wind generator. Robertson Construction acted as general contractor on the project while DesignGroup, Inc. designed the facility.  

    The site improvement and beautification project on the Chillicothe campus of Ohio University consisted of a new storm system, site concrete, brick pavers, monument signs, handicapped ramps, amphitheater, landscaping and paving.

    Robertson Construction worked as the lead contractor on this project with Wandel & Schnell Architects. The 18,000 sf renovation included two libraries, four public restrooms and two locker rooms on the campus of Ohio University, Lancaster.

    Just in time for the new school year, Rosecrans Elementary School was dedicated August 23, 2010. The 60,000 sf academic institution was constructed on a five acre parcel in Sunbury, Ohio. Robertson was general contractor on the project with Fanning Howey Associates, Inc. as architects. Read the story from the Sunbury News.

    This 36,000 sf renovation on the campus of Ohio University, Zanesville consisted of the renovation of classrooms and replacement of the entire building window system. Robertson collaborated with Feinknopf Macioce Shappa Architects, Inc.

    The 160,000 sf, three-story new home to the Zanesville Blue Devils features a 18,000 sf gym and adjacent auditorium. Construction of the new building required 20’ deep excavation of the hillside with 9,000 yards of rock removed. Robertson acted as general contractor for this project designed by Stubbs, Addis, Schappa, McDonald.

    For Llanfair Retirement Community in Cincinnati, a new Wellness Center and Chapel required more than promises of meeting a deadline. The facility remained open during renovations and the residents required unfettered access to their rooms. Robertson ensured that this 8,500 sf, $1,600,000 addition and renovation went smoothly, that the residents were inconvenienced as little as possible, and that the project still finished on time and on budget. JMM Architects designed the project.

    The 8,400 sf location, built by Robertson Construction, creates the warm, inviting feeling of home with an open and airy design, high-end finishes, beautiful wood trim and a spiral staircase with white-painted spindles that match the pillars leading into the conference room.

    Robertson completed two new builds for the Fairfield Union Local School District—Bremen and Pleasantville Elementary Schools. Each 55,000 sf school was completed on time and on budget. Burgess & Niple, Ltd acted as architects on the projects.
