Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily construction activities; supervise internal crews and subcontractors
- Develop daily and weekly work plans aligned to milestones; allocate tasks and resources
- Interpret blueprints and specifications; communicate plan details to the field
- Enforce safety protocols and conduct regular site inspections; correct hazards immediately
- Maintain daily logs (work performed, manpower, equipment, delays) and report progress/issues
- Coordinate material/equipment deliveries; verify quantities and site readiness
- Train and mentor crew members on construction methods, tools, and safety procedures
- Resolve on-site conflicts and technical challenges quickly to avoid delays
- Client satisfaction
Must‑Have Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 5+ years of construction experience, including 1–3 years as a Foreman
- Demonstrated ability to supervise crews on active job sites and enforce safety and quality standards
- Proficiency reading drawings and using common layout tools
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials, work in varying weather, and perform strenuous activity in confined spaces as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience on specialized/occupied renovation projects
- OSHA-10/30 certification
- Strong leadership and documentation (daily reports) discipline
