Recruiter

Responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent across various departments to include non-exempt and exempt positions. This position will manage the pre-employment process through the new hires first 90 days of employment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Influence organizational growth through strategic talent acquisition and relationship management.
  • Understanding of the products or services the business provides and the industry the company works in.
  • Will implement & utilize advanced HR tools and platforms, including ATS systems like Workday, Taleo, iCIMS, and PeopleSoft, to streamline recruitment processes.
  • Will have a strong understanding of employment & labor law, HRIS systems such as SAP, ADP, UltiPro, Kronos, and Paychex which is essential to ensure compliance and effective onboarding.
  • Must have outstanding written, verbal communication, with excellent organization and time management skills.
  • Must have the ability to manage multiple recruitment channels including social media management and campus recruitment initiatives.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment laws required.
Must-Have Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or Communications. OR:
  • Certification of Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) certifications are highly valued.
  • In addition to a degree, PHR or SHRM certifications this role will have a thorough understanding of the hiring process, employment law, and recruiting practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 3 – 5 years of recruiting experience in the process of sourcing, selecting, and hiring candidates for all positions within a given company.
  • Experience in writing and posting job descriptions, searching for qualified candidates, interviewing applicants, making job offers, and extending offers.
  • Must have ability to network and connect with other like industries to learn best practices and stay up to date on the latest trends in the industry.
