As a General Contractor, Robertson constructed the New Licking Township Fire Station which consisted of a seven bay, pre-engineered structure connected to a wood framed living quarters. The building was built on a hillside and the entire rear of the building served as a retaining wall; the rear entrance on the second floor was on grade. Another unique aspect of the facility was the absence of a fire suppression system. Due to the lack of commercial water service, the fire station utilized a series of strategically located fire walls to offset the need for a fire alarm and fire suppression system.
