From business to learning center, the #RobertsonConstruction team was proud to partner with Newark City Schools to transform the former 325,000 square-foot State Farm building into a thriving hub for early education. This renovation brought new preschool classrooms, a Digital Academy and a brand-new tech department to the district—creating spaces where students can learn, grow and succeed.
A big shoutout to Bill Franke, Facility Manager for Newark City Schools, for the kind words: “The Robertson team was able to work in partnership with our architect and Newark staff to help create a preschool center that is functional as well as beautiful! In particular, Clay was a guiding hand when it came to budget estimating at a time when costs were exploding and labor was in short supply.”
We’re honored to play a part in shaping the future of education in Licking County. #RobertsonConstruction #BuildingEducation #PeopleFirst #ProudBuilders #NewarkCitySchools #RobertsonNews

What a week! A big thank you to everyone who stopped by the #RobertsonConstruction booth at #OSBA2025. Here’s a quick look at what went down at Booth #606.
Our team came back ready to build even more after being a part of #OSBA2025! We had great conversations, shared some of our favorite school projects and connected with leaders who care deeply about their communities, just like we do. From small renovations to large-scale new builds, we are proud to help Ohio’s schools grow. Let’s keep the conversation going. And let’s get to work! #RobertsonNews #BuiltByRobertson #WeBuildOhio #OSBA202

The Arcade is alive again, and it’s more than just a building. It’s a place where memories were made, stories were shared and community came together. Now restored and renewed, it’s ready to welcome the next generation of memories. What’s your favorite memory of the Newark Arcade? Whether it’s a childhood visit, a first job or simply walking its glass-covered corridor, we’d love to hear your story. Drop it in the comments and help us celebrate the past while building what’s next.
