As the Single Prime General Contractor, Robertson managed the multi-phase office renovation for the Department of Administrative Services. The renovation consisted of selective demolition and hazardous material abatement to facilitate new interior partitions, finishes and plumbing, mechanical and electrical systems in office areas, elevator lobbies and restrooms. We constructed common and private conference rooms and open office space and replaced all existing aluminum exterior windows with new fixed, insulated windows. All renovated space was updated with new communications, security, data, and control systems.

Since the turn of the century, Astute has been helping businesses across the state of Ohio take control of their technology and work with greater confidence. Specializing in network engineering, Astute stabilizes and secures network servers and workstations on a variety of platforms from cloud applications to mobile devices.  The new offices in Dublin, Ohio will enable them to provide first class service for years to come.  The open environment for the network engineers facilitates collaboration and is complemented with the glass door executive offices to foster a team environment.  The offices are complete with ample conference space and a break room with a kitchenette for associates to relax and enjoy one another’s company.

In 2013, Park National Bank purchased six floors of the North Third Tower on the Courthouse Square in downtown Newark, across the street from its corporate headquarters, to consolidate and expand its operations.  Robertson helped the Bank realize their vision. To enhance the operations and improve the efficiency and atmosphere within the workspace, Robertson partnered with Park National Bank to renovate the interior office space to address the current and future needs of their business.  All the interior renovations were performed in an occupied facility and Robertson phased the construction so Bank could maintain its operations throughout the enhancements to the office space.

Park National is one of the largest banks in the nation and is headquartered in Newark, Ohio. The John W. Alford Building, a historic building on Courthouse Square in downtown Newark, houses Park Nation Bank’s headquarters and corporate office. In 2020, Robertson was entrusted to renovate the multi-story, commercial office while preserving the history and character of the building.  To accommodate the continual corporate operations throughout the replacement of the entire mechanical and electrical infrastructure, construction activities were phased and sequenced to minimize the disruption to the Bank’s daily routine.

As the Design-Builder, Robertson collaborated with WSA Studio on the design and construction of our new corporate office in Heath, Ohio.  For both economy and efficiency, we utilized our experience with pre-engineered metal structures.  The exterior skin includes metal panels at various scales and reclaimed barn siding. These materials reflect an agricultural vernacular and the craftsmanship for which Robertson is recognized.  The interior is organized around a central open office with flanking collaboration spaces. It provides office space for thirty employees, multiple conference rooms, a break room and exercise facility.

The W Nail Bar was co-founded by twin sisters Manda Mason and Lauren Hunter in 2015. After opening several shops of their own, the company teamed up with Columbus-based DSW and Iowa-headquartered Hy-vee stores to expand its presence throughout the Midwest. The Dublin Nail Bar in Bridge Park is the eighth store in central Ohio and in addition to the luxury nail salon experience with eight manicure and six pedicure stations, it features a private room for wax and lash services.

Ohio Heritage Bank’s newest location is more than a branch, it serves as the regional headquarters in Licking County. The open and airy design, high-end finishes, beautiful wood trim and a spiral staircase with white-painted spindles create the warm, inviting feelings of home.

This full-service, sit-down restaurant included a complete commercial kitchen and custom interior woodworking. Robertson collaborated with Englefield Oil’s interior designer to achieve the desired atmosphere.

The marketer and operator of convenience stores and gas stations throughout the Midwest has depended on Robertson to renovate and build new stores on the tightest of timelines. The standard project schedule is ninety days from start to finish.

As the Single Prime General Contractor, Robertson constructed the thirty-foot diameter projection planetarium for Scidome, a collaboration between the The Works and The Ohio State University. The immersive planetarium offers an educational experience for audiences of all ages and provides access to interdisciplinary programs, virtual learning opportunities and career-focused internships.

The Works is an interactive museum for hands-on discovery of local history, art, science and glassblowing. To provide a safe and history-enriched environment for pedestrians to travel from the Canal Market Street Plaza and parking garage to the Works, the Streetscape offers a storied history of the community and prelude to the experience within the museum. The Steam Engine Building is one of the more popular attractions.

The seventeen-unit, lake front, gated community was designed and constructed by Robertson to look and feel like Key West. Each home was designed and decorated to suit its owner’s individual sense of style. The development includes the finest in materials and amenities including private docks with electric and water access, a boardwalk and clubhouse with an outdoor pool.
