Robertson partnered with Memorial Health Systems to construct the Athens Medical Campus. This new hospital was completed using off-site, modular construction provided by MODLOGIQ. Eighty-five percent of the buildings were assembled in their factory in Pennsylvania and delivered to the jobsite for assembly. On site, the project team re-routed 48” storm piping at an average depth of 24’ and imported more than 35,000 cubic yards of fill. To level the sloped site, we installed a 350’ long x 18’ high concrete retaining wall. To support the modular units, we constructed a depressed 25,000 square foot building pad and 143 concrete piers capped with custom 2” thick steel bearing plates provided by our very own fabrication shop. The 100,000 SF hospital features four operating rooms, a trauma center, clinical services, medical imaging, and is served by a heliport, and a three-story, 358 stall, cast-in place concrete parking garage with 358.

Robertson was hired as the Construction Manager at Risk to renovate spaces on the first and second floor of Atwell Hall for the College of Medicine. The Active Daily Learning (ADL) Simulation Laboratory project converted classrooms into office and reception space, a simulation laboratory designed to function like a hospital room and a mock apartment. The project was designed to create an environment that simulated conditions in healthcare facilities and provided students with real-world experiences.

Licking Memorial Health Systems hired Robertson as the Construction Manager at Risk to manage the construction of its new Medical Office Building. The new facility provides Licking Memorial the ability to relocate and expand its physical, occupational and speech therapy services. The first floor of the facility houses therapy services and community wellness programs and the second floor is dedicated to physician’s offices.

Robertson served as the Lead General Contractor on the construction of a new CT scanner facility within the James Cancer Hospital on the main campus of The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. Working in the confines of an existing hospital, with limited access to the space, we reconfigured a room to accommodate the equipment, installed a new concrete floor, lead lined walls and new finishes without interruption to patient care.

Robertson served as the Single Prime General Contractor on Ohio Eastern Star’s long-term care nursing facility in Mount Vernon, Ohio. The 53,935 square foot expansion of the existing facility provided the ability to expand its services with sixty-two additional beds. The new assisted living suites offer a pleasant transition from a private home or independent living setting to a plush environment with skilled nursing services.

For the Llanfair Retirement Community in Cincinnati, a new Wellness Center and Chapel required more than promises of meeting a deadline. It required close coordination with staff and facilities operations to maintain a high level of customer care and guest service throughout construction. We ensured the addition and renovation went smoothly, the residents were not inconvenienced, and the project finished on time and on budget.

Robertson served as the General Contractor on the new 10,000 square foot facility with two side by side linear accelerators and a full-scale private radiation oncology center. Our concrete crew formed and poured the 2’ thick floors and exterior walls and the 3’ thick center concrete divider wall that encapsulates the accelerators.
